Project History

2005 - Procure Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Technology. Specifically, FNSB is in the process of integrating an Advanced Transportation Operating System consisting of a Computer Aided Registration, Scheduling, and Dispatching System (CARSD) from RouteMatch for their Paratransit operations, integrated with Mobile Data Terminals (MDTs) and Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) from Mentor Engineering for both their Paratransit and Fixed Route operations, communicating over a new borough-wide Data Communications Radio Network currently being deployed.
