STS Schuylkill Transportation System Avail Customer since 2005 Customer Profile Our objective is to enhance our ability to maintain a world-class transit system that will be able to serve Schuylkill County with distinction, well into the 21st century. STS currently operates a fleet of approximately 18 fixed route vehicles and 25 paratransit. Avail Technology and Services Snapshot 1-2-3 approach to needs assessment, procurement assistance, and systems integration for Demand Response/Paratransit ITS technology Project History 2005 - Avail Technologies staff began working with the staff at STS to outline the needs and develop the specifications necessary to procure scheduling and dispatching software for their Paratransit operation. The second phase of this project will be the development of a communications infrastructure that will allow STS to integrate mobile data computers with automatic vehicle location.
